English Translation and Interpreting B.A. Programme was established in 2015 and welcomed its first students in the same year. Education language of the programme is English. As of the first term, students choose a foreign language course among German, French and Russian and continue taking the consecutive courses of the same language until graduation. English Translation and Interpreting B.A. Programme is a flexible, suitable, and student-focused one in which students can withdraw almost half of the lessons from a pool of elective courses based on their interests.
The aim of the four-year Translation and Interpreting undergraduate programme is to train future translators/interpreters as professionals who can compete in both public and private sectors with the skills, knowledge, and professional ethics required for the profession.
Undergraduate students can declare a double major or minor in the department of American Culture and Literature.
